Mazda are joining the scrappage scheme market with Mazda Scrappage Incentive.
Mazda are offering trade in deals on most cars from their range and get between £2,500 and £5,000 off a new Mazda car. All cars traded in under the scheme will be scrapped and removed from the road.
Mazda claim their SKYACTIV-D Diesel and SKYACTYIV-G petrol engines are highly efficient and have the world’s best compression ratios (14:1).
MX-5 and CX-5 models are not available under the Mazda Scrappage Scheme.
Talking on the Mazda Scrappage Incentive, Peter Allibon, head of Mazda UK sales said:
‘Not specific to diesel engines, this scheme is designed to incentivise dirtier older cars of all engine types off the road, and offers consumers the choice of sub 130g/km cars from both our SKYACTIV-G petrol and SKYACTIV-D diesel range’.
